New Burner and Solar Panels
A new burner and solar panel system was installed at the end of November. There was very little heating and hot water because the burner was very old and not very efficient. They could not afford to run the burner long enough to heat the whole school and have hot water. The boys who are boarders, sleep in a dormitory in the school building, are so pleased to have hot water, its a real luxury for them. Also, the classrooms are warm now, some of the children are collected by the bus at 5.30a.m. to be in school for 8, so a warm classroom is very welcomed.
